As President Obama pushes forward with “reforming” the American medical system, the estimated costs for those reforms are leaving some in Congress to begin to wonder where the money will come from. One potential source of funding is through the taxation of medical benefits provided by employers. During President Obama’s campaign he was staunchly against this option and criticized Senator McCain’s support for it. However, according sources, as the costs increase and other options disappear, Mr. Obama may be warming up to it.
