Iran’s Tiananmen Square – Critics ask “This is President Obama’s Response?”

The government of Iran has authorized and ordered its security forces to break up any and all demonstrations, fire at protestors and arrest any foreign reporters attempting to film the protests. In response citizens have utilized Twitter, YouTube, cell phone cameras and literally yelling (while standing on top of their roofs at night) to organize additional protests, avoid/warn others of traps by the government’s forces and broadcast events domestically and abroad.

Reaction by Western Leaders to what is being called “Iran’s Tiananmen Square” has been, for the most part, swift and to the point with only a few exceptions. The United States…
