Republican's take a stand

Yesterday, over the objections of Majority Leader Reid (and no doubt President Obama & Nancy Pelosi), for at least 3 hours a Republican Senator did what has been missing since President Obama and the Democratic Leadership forced its first spending bill through Congress – Transparency.

Senator Tom Coburn forced an Amendment to Senator Reid’s Health Care Reform Legislation (a.k.a. Obama-care) to be read on the floor of the Senate before allowing a vote on it.  Unfortunately, in the end, the Democratic Leadership used what one observer called “questionable” steps to stop the reading of the 767 page amendment but not before the point was made…

The Republican Party is united and will not allow what was supposed to be “…the most transparent Administration ever…” to sneak another reckless government take over or spending spree through without exposing to the American public first. (At least we hope)
