Senate clears path for debate on Obama Care
Saturday night the Senate moved one step closer to approving Obama Care. Voting 60 to 39, Democrats pushed through approval of a procedural measure required to open debate on Senate Majority Leader Reid’s version of Obama Care.

Several Democrats & Independent Senators who voted for the motion carefully ensured members of the media understood – Support for the motion did not guarantee their vote for the bill itself.
Four of these Senators notably included: Mary L. Landriew (D-Louisiana), Blanche Lincoln (D-Arkansas), Ben Nelson (D-Nebraska) and Joseph I. Lieberman (I-Connecticut)
