34% of Americans Strongly Approve of how President Obama is performing his duties.
When asked which branch they trust the most: 34% of voters state the Supreme Court, 27% of voters state the President
38% of Americans agree with Cheney that Obama has hurt national security and America is not as safe under Obama’s changes
40% of Americans believe the US is heading in the right direction.
37% of GOP voters believe the party is leaderless
59% believe the suspected terrorists held at Guantanamo prison should be tried by military tribunals (26% believe they should be tried in U.S. courts)
Government Policy – Priorities, Taxes, Cap-in-Trade, National Language
41% state college aide for lower income students should be a top priority for government
81% Oppose gas tax hike to encourage sales of more efficient cars (10% support a tax hike)
45% state legal skills are a top factor for the next supreme court nominee (27% state making diversity is the most important factor)
Only 24% of voters can correctly identify that “Cap-in-Trade” proposal relates to the environment (29% believe it has to do with Wall Street, 17% believe it has to do with health care, 30% have no idea what it relates to)
84% of Americans state English should be America’s official language (9% disagree, 7% are not sure)
Health Insurance/Care
56% of uninsured Americans rate the U.S. Health Care system as Poor (20% view it as good or excellent)
34% of Americans overall rate the nation’s health care system as good or excellent
70% of Americans with health insurance rate their own coverage as good or excellent (23% say their coverage is fair, 6% poor)
45% of Americans believe government reform will end up increasing the cost of health care.
48% of uninsured Americans state that health care costs have caused them to miss credit card, rent or mortgage payments
54% of Americans state they would not pay higher taxes to guarantee health insurance for all (32% state they would)
Economics – Home Values, Newspaper Survival, Bills, Changes to Save the Environment
49% state their home is worth more than their mortgage (this down by 5% since last month and 12% since December)
65% believe the Daily Newspaper will be gone in ten years (18% believe they will never go out of business)
3% state they are likely to miss a credit card payment in the next six months (23% state they are somewhat likely, 12% state they are Very Likely)
42% Support major lifestyle changes in order to save the planet (44% disagree)
