Mexico’s War on Drugs – Should we stay or should we go?
For years Democrats have criticized the U.S. war on drugs, especially America’s funding of neighboring countries’ efforts. With a Democratic President Elect and Democratically controlled Congress these programs will undoubtedly be affected over the next few years. Unless there is strong support by the citizens of the U.S. for this war, Obama’s administration may pull the plug, leaving Mexico to fight the battle itself. The question is, if that happens, will the U.S. be pulling out just as Mexico is actually making progress?…
