Burris Seating Uncertain
Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White refused to certify Roland Burris appointment as Senator. Secretary of the Senate and advised that his credentials were not in order and would not be accepted, not be seated and not be allowed on the floor. Burris was turned away yesterday. He is consulted his attorney and considering if a lawsuit be filed in Federal Court.
