Today is not a day for politics or partisan bickering. Today is a day for the country to remember the great sacrifices that were and continue to be made. America must never forget the lessons that September 11th taught us. We must never forget those that we have lost. We must never forget that even after the end of the Cold War, and the dawn of this new century, America and our belief in Freedom and in Democracy must still be protected from those who would destroy it.

Today would have been President Ronald Reagan’s 100th birthday. Much has been written about President Reagan and his dedication to the ideals of the “Shinning City on the Hill.” Along with then British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, President Reagan is rightfully credited with taking the actions required that eventually resulted in the end of the Cold War and the Collapse of the Soviet Union. President Reagan, in this writer’s opinion, will be remembered as one of America’s greatest Presidents.
What is perhaps not remembered as well, is Reagan’s love of jokes and good humorous attitude. With this in mind, on President Reagan’s birthday, we would like to celebrate with a couple of videos of jokes about the Soviet Union (often given to him from Soviet citizens and officials) as well as about himself and his political opponents…
